Some people are born with beautiful voices, but it takes much more than that to be a truly great singer. Sam Cooke was one of the most influential singers and activists of the civil rights era. Nicknamed the King of Soul, he was beloved far and wide for his powerful vocals and evocative writing talents, with A Change Is Gonna Come being one of his best-known hits.

"A Change Is Gonna Come" by Leslie Odom Jr.
The song was inspired by various events in Cooke's life, most prominently when he and his entourage were turned away from a whites-only motel in Louisiana. Cooke felt compelled to write a song that spoke to his struggle and of those around him, and that pertained to the Civil Rights Movement and African Americans. Though only a modest hit for Cooke in comparison with his previous singles, "A Change Is Gonna Come" is widely considered Cooke's greatest and most influential composition and has been voted among the best songs ever released by various publications.
Marriage does weird things to Mormons You're correct, that he should ask her these things would you marry a non Mormon. To her, if you don't marry in the temple, she will probably do it after you die anyway. There is the possibility that she will wise up over time, but not likely. This girl is also a real person, not a caricature of a cult member, and even if the ultimate result is a breakup, she deserves to be treated with compassion and respect. But, as soon as the marriage happened, the Mormon spouse goes full on Orthodox and expects the non Mormon to comply. I think your response is Bang on. Finally, it is a very tight-knit community and despite efforts to insulate you from conversion-minded missionaries, you will be exposed to a lot of people that think, like this woman does, that atheists are without a moral compass. Please think that there is something worse: Sometimes I feel the worst wife, mother and daughter. Most couples who are married where one is a Mormon and the other isn't, usually stems from a situation where they both were married in the temple, then one of them lost their faith sometime after that.
